About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide functional rehabilitation in real-life settings, such as homes, schools, and workplaces. You will create flexible schedules for therapy sessions, engage clients in activities like cooking and grocery shopping, and work collaboratively with a team of therapists. Your role will involve treating clients beyond traditional environments, ensuring they regain confidence and joy in their daily lives.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the practicing state.
- Current CPR Certification.
- A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
Preferred:
- Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses.
- Effective communication skills in verbal and written interactions.
