About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist at Family Life Care, you will be responsible for patient assessment, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and providing therapy in accordance with treatment plans. You will also train and direct clinical staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and work with a variety of patient cases, including long-term care and recovery from injuries or illnesses.
About You
Required:
- Current Florida Occupational Therapy license
- Current CPR Certification
- Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance
- Current TB test with negative results
- Ability to pass a Level II background check
Preferred:
- Experience with Medicare (OASIS), Medicaid, and commercial insurance in the home health environment
- Understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to home health, especially Medicare and Medicaid
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail
- Experience with industry software such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems
