About the Role
As an Oncology Data Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately abstracting and interpreting clinical data from patient medical records, tracking oncology patient data throughout the full course of care, and inputting high-quality data into national cancer registries. You will maintain a consistent workflow of abstracting cases, support quality management initiatives, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with cancer reporting standards.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) credential
- 3-5 years of medical records experience
Preferred:
- Associate's Degree
