About the Role
As an Oncology Infusion RN, you will assess health status, perform nursing assessments, administer medications and treatments, and provide infusion therapies such as chemotherapy and blood transfusions. You will also initiate CPR and emergency measures, notify physicians of abnormal findings, assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and develop health education for patients and families. The position requires travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- One year of recent experience as an RN
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 5+ years RN experience in either hematology/oncology or medical-surgical nursing
