Summary
AmeriCorps is seeking a OneStar Communication & Engagement VISTA Leader_Teleservice to join their team in Austin, Texas. The role involves providing leadership, peer development, and training to OneStar VISTA members across Texas.
About the Role
As a OneStar Communication & Engagement VISTA Leader, you will help build the capacity of the OneStar Foundation's Statewide VISTA Intermediary Program by providing training, peer development, and support to VISTA members. You will mentor and coordinate teams of VISTA members, develop resources, and assist in recruiting and supporting incoming members. The position requires some light travel and collaboration with OneStar staff to create professional development trainings.
About You
Required:
- At least one full term of service as a full-time AmeriCorps VISTA, AmeriCorps State/National, NCCC member, or at least one traditional term of service as a Peace Corps Volunteer.
- Some college education.
Preferred:
- Experience in community organization and conflict resolution.
- Strong writing/editing skills and public speaking abilities.
