Summary
Olympus Corporation is seeking an Onsite Support Specialist to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves providing customer support for Olympus equipment in the Operating Room and other specified departments.
About the Role
As an Onsite Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation of Olympus equipment, coordinating schedules with audiovisual providers, providing in-service training for operating room personnel, managing clinical equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, and performing routine maintenance. You will also ensure compliance with HIPAA and maintain a professional appearance and work ethic.
About You
Required:
- Associate's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of related equipment experience in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, nursing, computer science, or related discipline.
- Solid working knowledge of electronics and audiovisual equipment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office; strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with public speaking and delivering demonstrations.
- High degree of self-reliance, initiative, and creativity.
- Excellent work ethic and time management skills.
- Eager to learn and grow, and accept feedback.
- Consistently delivering superior customer service.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel less than 20% annually.
Preferred:
- Operating room experience and knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures, and aseptic technique.
- Experience as a Scrub Tech or Surgical Technologist.
