About the Role
As an Operating Room Assistant, you will perform general perioperative responsibilities under the supervision of the Charge RN. Your duties will include assisting in the transfer and positioning of surgical patients, cleaning and restocking operating rooms, performing surgical skin preparations, and transporting specimens and equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and sterile environment, complying with departmental standards, and participating in quality improvement activities.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Ability to be thoroughly trained to meet organizational standards.
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong critical thinking skills for case preparation and patient safety.
