Summary

Bayer is seeking an Operational Excellence Lead to join their team in Myerstown, PA. The role involves leading all Operational Excellence and Capabilities activities at the CH PS NA Myerstown site, focusing on the deployment and integration of the Product Supply System (PSS) program.

About the Role

As the Operational Excellence Lead, you will spearhead the transformation of the organization from a PSS phase 0 to phase 4 site, ensuring top decile operational performance. You will lead a dynamic team, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and drive innovation, digitalization, and cost efficiency. Your responsibilities include team leadership, strategy development, operational excellence program execution, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance site performance and capabilities.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's or master's degree with multi-functional experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence/LEAN.
10 years of experience with a bachelor's or 8 years with a master's degree in leadership/production/supervisory roles in the FDA or pharmaceutical industry.
Deep experience in complex manufacturing management in the consumer and/or pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in successful organizational transformation and change management initiatives.
Excellent project management skills with deep experience in LEAN methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Exceptional people leadership and team-building skills.

Preferred:

Certified Green Belt and/or Black Belt.

Benefits

Salary range between $144k–$216k.
Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation.
