Summary
CDW is seeking an Operations Analyst to join their team in Vernon Hills, IL. The role involves performing technical tasks related to the operation and monitoring of assigned technologies for the managed services customer base.
About the Role
As an Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for service delivery, analysis, design, and leadership within the managed services operations. Your tasks will include collaborating with customers and suppliers, providing tier-1 support, analyzing incidents and opportunities for service improvement, engineering solutions, and leading change initiatives.
About You
Required:
- Associate Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, with at least 6 months of Information Technology work experience.
- Experience with IBM System z mainframe systems and associated peripheral hardware and software.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Preferred:
- Experience in monitoring applications such as ScienceLogic, Nimsoft Unified Management, Automate, or similar.
- Experience in help desk applications such as ServiceNow, Service Desk Express (SDE), Remedy, Heat, or similar.
- Experience in a managed services environment.
