Solar Energy Solutions is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Technician to join their team in Ashland, VA. The role involves ensuring the efficient and optimal performance of solar energy systems through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
About the Role
As an Operations and Maintenance Technician at SES, you will be responsible for conducting routine inspections and maintenance of solar energy systems, troubleshooting and repairing solar panels and inverters, performing system monitoring, maintaining accurate records, collaborating with the installation team, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in operations and maintenance of solar energy systems.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and equipment/Journeyman's Electrical License.
- Familiarity with solar inverters and monitoring systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Preferred:
- Certification in solar energy systems or relevant field.
