Summary
Piston Automotive is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team in Auburn Hills, MI. The role involves managing all activities related to operations and development of company products, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery commitments are met.
About the Role
As an Operations Manager, you will be a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, responsible for coordinating manufacturing activities, mentoring staff, and driving continuous improvement in safety, productivity, and quality. You will establish production standards, develop operational budgets, and create a safe work environment while leading the facility in the absence of the Plant Manager.
About You
Required:
- Eight (8) years of experience as an Operations Supervisor, Manager, or a related role.
- Experience in ILVS/JIT/Broadcast environments.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and knowledge of TS 16949 quality process.
- Strong leadership experience and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience as a change agent.
- Experience using problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, etc.).
