Summary
Reworld Waste is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team in Niagara Falls, NY. The role involves overseeing all localized activities of the Material Processing facility to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations.
About the Role
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of equipment operators and technicians, organizing daily operations, tracking performance against KPIs, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and managing employee performance. You will also coordinate operations, communicate with internal resources, and participate in projects related to health, safety, and process improvement.
About You
Required:
- College Degree or equivalent experience in related industry.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of increasing managerial responsibility in a plant environment.
- Proven supervisory, leadership, and team building skills.
- Demonstrated communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred:
- Background in waste management, environmental regulations, laboratory analysis, regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods and SIMDUT.
- Knowledge of provincial, Canadian, and US Hazardous waste regulations.
