Summary
Aligned Data Centers is seeking an Operations SME, BMS to join their team in Plano, TX. The role involves supporting the operations team as a subject matter expert with new campus design, system operations, incident response, training, vendor support, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
About the Role
As an Operations SME, BMS, you will be responsible for engineering and design reviews, providing operational insights for capital projects, supporting training and development of personnel, driving improvements in system performance, and ensuring adherence to operational standards. You will also provide global support to site operations teams and lead technical reviews of new technologies.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent training/experience.
- 8+ years of operational experience in data centers.
- SME designation in mechanical, electrical, or BMS/controls equipment/systems.
- Ability to analyze critical infrastructure sequence of operations and performance trends.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications.
- Expertise in creating standards and programs for data center operations.
- Strong customer service acumen.
