About the Role
As the Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift, you will independently manage operations during second shift hours, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. Your responsibilities will include enforcing safety regulations, managing employee schedules, monitoring production metrics, conducting shift startup meetings, and supporting employee development through training.
About You
Required:
- 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace or fasteners preferred).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and lean manufacturing tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, especially in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams with minimal oversight.
Preferred:
- Comfortable using ERP systems and productivity tools like Excel and production dashboards.
- Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
