Summary
Reaxis Inc is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join their team in McDonald, PA. The role involves overseeing and managing various production, maintenance, and logistical processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency expectations are met.
About the Role
As an Operations Supervisor, you will direct all plant and warehouse operations on your assigned shift to meet production and logistics schedules. You will assist the Maintenance Department in developing and managing preventative maintenance, supervise and evaluate the work of direct reports, and ensure safe operations while controlling costs. Your responsibilities will also include performing routine inspections, maintaining facility cleanliness, administering discipline, and assisting in inventory counts.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field or Chemistry.
- 5 years’ experience in the chemical process industry in a management/supervisory role.
- Basic understanding and hands-on experience with QC testing.
Preferred:
- Ability to oversee simultaneous small to medium-scale capital projects.
- Demonstrable experience working with a Unionized workforce.
