St. Vincent de Paul CARES is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join their team in Port Charlotte, FL. The role involves supervising employees providing case management and housing services for individuals experiencing homelessness.
About the Role
As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing case management and housing services, ensuring compliance with contracts, and providing staff training and performance evaluations. You will coordinate outreach activities, monitor employee performance, and assist in administrative tasks related to operations. The position emphasizes a Housing First approach, focusing on low barriers to admission and providing support services to vulnerable populations.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity or coordinating role.
Ability to comply with complex governmental regulations and demonstrate thorough document compliance.
Preferred:
Basic knowledge of homelessness, mental illness, and substance abuse.
Experience in program coordination, supervising staff, and crisis intervention with homeless individuals.
