CompoSecure is seeking an Operator for a 12 Hour Night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM in Somerset, NJ. The role involves hands-on production tasks to support manufacturing operations.
About the Role
As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating assigned production equipment, performing basic production tasks, conducting visual inspections for quality assurance, and completing necessary documentation. You will work under direct supervision and be trained on specific equipment or processes such as CNC machining, tacking, lamination, engraving, or card finishing. The position requires flexibility to rotate between tasks and adherence to safety guidelines.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, standard work, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred:
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Exposure to CNC machining, lamination, engraving, tacking, or finishing operations.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts or continuous improvement practices.
