About the Role
As an Ophthalmic Scribe/Technician, you will utilize ophthalmic techniques to prepare patients for treatments, assist physicians, and maintain accurate medical records. Your responsibilities will include measuring visual acuity, recording patient histories, and ensuring a clean and stocked work environment. You will also be required to perform basic visual field testing and instill eye drops as directed by the physician.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or higher.
- Strong attention to detail and expert keyboarding skills.
- Ability to understand and correctly spell medical terminology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
Preferred:
- Experience in a medical or clinical setting.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems.
