About the Role
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will be responsible for conducting patient intake, performing routine ophthalmic tests, assisting during diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, administering medications, educating patients, and coordinating appointments and surgeries.
About You
Required:
- 1-3 years of full-time work experience under supervision of ophthalmologic supervision.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Preferred:
- Completion of a JRCOMP approved program for ophthalmology assistants.
