Summary
EyeSouth Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join their team in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves supporting a high-volume ophthalmic practice focused on providing quality and compassionate eye care services.
About the Role
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will be responsible for obtaining and documenting patient history, determining visual acuity, performing automated refraction, administering eye drops and ointments, entering data into EMR, providing patient services, and maintaining equipment. You will also need to travel to various locations as required and demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited high school.
- Strong customer service skills and excellent interpersonal communication.
Preferred:
- Experience in an ophthalmic or healthcare setting.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions.
