About the Role
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, verifying patient information, recording medical histories, conducting diagnostic tests, and preparing patients for treatments. You will also maintain examination rooms and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
- Current Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
