As a Bilingual Ophthalmology Technician / Study Coordinator, you will be responsible for conducting various ophthalmic procedures, managing clinical research protocols, recruiting and educating patients, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with clinical research professionals and participate in the overall study operations.
About You
Required:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- 2-year degree or equivalent in a health-related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ophthalmology Technician
- Proficiency in auto-refraction, refraction, trial-lens refraction, OCT, and FA photography
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service focus
Preferred:
- Experience in clinical research coordination
- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Motivated self-starter capable of conducting independent research activities
