About the Role
As an Optometric Technician, you will consult with patients, document their medical history, maintain a smooth flow of patients, ensure their comfort during procedures, and learn to use pretest equipment for visual screenings. You will also conduct contact lens training and collaborate with doctors and team members to enhance the patient experience.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED with the ability to understand/do basic math.
- Personable and patient with the ability to comfort patients during the screening process.
- Detail-oriented and able to work closely with the Optometrist.
- Willingness to learn about the industry, products, and services.
- Collaborative team player focused on providing the best patient experience.
Preferred:
- Prior healthcare/medical/optical background.
