About the Role
As an Optometric Technician, you will assist in all aspects of patient care, including patient intake, contact lens fittings, and patient education. You will monitor patients' eye and vision issues, contribute to clinic efficiency, and maintain professional relationships with staff and optometrists. Your responsibilities will also include managing the daily schedule, assisting with retail aspects of the office, and resolving patient complaints.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a fast-paced medical office.
- Experience with electronic health records.
- Experience in optometry.
