Summary
Petaluma Health Center is seeking an Optometrist to join their progressive, interdisciplinary team in Petaluma, CA. The role involves providing full-scope routine and medical eye care in a team-based environment integrated with primary care.
About the Role
As an Optometrist, you will examine, diagnose, treat, and manage eye disorders, diseases, and injuries. You will prescribe medications, eyeglasses, and contact lenses, maintain high-quality care, deliver treatment plans, and ensure patient education. You will also supervise support staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain patient confidentiality.
About You
Required:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited North American optometry program.
- Current California Doctor of Optometry license with TPA and Glaucoma certification.
Preferred:
- Residency training, master's degree in public health, or previous experience working at an FQHC or other interdisciplinary setting.
- Currently credentialed with MediCal.
