About the Role
As an OR/PACU RN, you will utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, perform preoperative assessments, provide comfort measures, demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients with anesthesia, administer medications, and educate patients about their care. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to enhance the patient experience.
About You
Required:
- Active RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
- Proficiency with IV's required
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
Preferred:
- 2-3 years of clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
