About You
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of SPD experience with proficiency in all SPD Technician responsibilities.
- CRCST/CSPDT, CST or CER/CFER certification is required.
- Must obtain CIS/CSIS, CHL/CSPM or STERIS Assessment certification within 12 months of hire.
- Must maintain certification by completing 12 Continuing Education Credit Hours annually.
- Completion of a Sterile Processing/Surgical Technologist program.
- Ability to perform all job requirements of both a Technician I and Technician II.
- Demonstrate 'mentor' status in applicable specialty area(s) via competency assessment within 6 months of hire.
