About the Role
As the Organic Chemistry Group Manager, you will lead the group in adopting changes in practices and processes, ensure rapid analysis of samples, manage personnel matters, and maintain laboratory records. You will also consult with clients and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines for a safe laboratory environment.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in a chemical, physical, or biological discipline.
Experience in the management of an environmental testing laboratory with NELAC Accreditation.
At least one year of experience in the environmental analysis of organic analytes.
Preferred:
Knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and techniques for laboratory testing of environmental organic contaminants.
Familiarity with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) analytical methodology and quality system guidance documents.
