About the Role
As an Orthopedic Ambulatory Clinic NP / PA, you will assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient interviews, documenting medical histories, assisting in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and performing diagnostic procedures such as laboratory tests and x-rays.
About You
Required:
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in Georgia or certified as a Physician's Assistant.
- At least one year of direct experience in high acuity clinical specialties may be required.
- BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
Preferred:
- Experience in general orthopedics or emergency medicine.
- ACLS certification may be required in some areas.
