About the Role
As an Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for administering dialysis treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. You will also educate patients and their families about end-stage renal disease and dialysis therapy, while maintaining effective communication with the healthcare team and addressing any patient concerns.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN).
- Current appropriate State licensure.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred:
- One year medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Hemodialysis experience.
- ICU experience.
- Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
- Successfully complete CPR Certification.
