Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join their team in Hereford, TX. The role involves providing direct patient care and supporting the hemodialysis healthcare team.
About the Role
As an Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective dialysis therapy to assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your duties will include monitoring and documenting treatment parameters, administering medications, and assisting in patient education regarding dialysis therapy. You will also ensure a clean and safe work environment and participate in staff meetings and training.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN)
- Current appropriate State licensure
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred:
- One year medical-surgical nursing experience
- Hemodialysis experience
- ICU experience
- Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis
- Successfully complete CPR Certification
