About the Role
As an Outreach Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering athletic training services, including emergency care, clinical evaluation, and rehabilitation for athletes. You will collaborate with coaches, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure the health and safety of student-athletes. Your duties will include managing head injuries, maintaining treatment logs, and implementing treatment programs while working under the supervision of a directing physician.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as athletic training, physical therapy, or a related human services field.
- Current athletic training certification by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC).
- Ability to complete American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience as a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
