GULF MANAGEMENT, INC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative - Highway Safety Equipment to join their team in Sanford, FL. The role involves managing and growing sales within the assigned territory while developing long-term relationships with customers in the construction and highway safety industry.
About the Role
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with highway contractors, government agencies, and product manufacturers. Your daily tasks will include identifying new business opportunities, conducting product demonstrations, preparing quotes and proposals, and collaborating with the inside sales team to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also stay informed about industry standards and attend trade shows and conferences.
About You
Required:
Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in construction, traffic control, or highway safety equipment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction, or equivalent experience.
Strong relationship, presentation, and communication skills.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
Preferred:
Knowledge of State Department of Transportation specifications and product approval process.
Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
