About the Role
As a PACE Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading various activities such as games, arts and crafts, and therapeutic activities. You will train and oversee activity aides, conduct assessments to determine participants' needs, document in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide integrated care. Additionally, you will assist with personal care and manage supplies for activities while ensuring compliance with regulations.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning, recreation, or activities with a focus on geriatric or frail populations.
- Associates or vocational degree in Therapeutic Recreation, hospitality, healthcare, or related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
- CPR (Basic Life Support) certification.
Preferred:
- Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in using computers and various software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
