About the Role
As a Packing Specialist, you will be responsible for supplying all lines with necessary packaging materials, building skids, cutting boxes, maintaining organization of supplies, wrapping finished products, and ensuring compliance with packaging instructions. You will also coordinate daily breaks, grind scrap, maintain tools, and keep the packaging area clean.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Ability to multitask and strong time management skills.
- Ability to read a tape measure down to a 1/16.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable and able to work safely.
Preferred:
- Experience in plastics is preferred but not required.
- Trained to operate a chop saw.
- Lean manufacturing or six sigma experience is a plus.
- Forklift license.
