Summary
Northwest Health is seeking a PACS Administrator to manage the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) in Valparaiso, IN. The role involves ensuring seamless operation, maintenance, and accessibility of medical imaging within the healthcare facility.
About the Role
As a PACS Administrator, you will manage day-to-day operations of the PACS, serve as a liaison between the healthcare facility and PACS vendors, provide user training and support, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, monitor system performance, and facilitate data storage and retrieval. You will also collaborate with IT and clinical staff to integrate PACS with other hospital systems.
About You
Required:
- 1-2 years of experience in radiologic technology, information systems analysis, or database management.
- Proficiency in managing, troubleshooting, and configuring PACS hardware and software systems.
- Strong understanding of medical imaging data management principles.
Preferred:
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
- Certifications in networking and/or database management.
