About the Role
As a PACS Assistant, you will be responsible for independently performing multiple computer functions including image retrieval, patient results retrieval, faxing, and tracking files in the RIS system. You will interact with patients, fellow workers, physicians, and visitors, and work with all segments of patient populations, including infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients. The position requires stooping, bending, and lifting, with significant time spent working with computer terminals and occasional exposure to infected or ill patients.
About You
Required:
- Experience in administrative or clerical roles, preferably in a medical setting.
- Proficiency in computer functions and data entry.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with medical imaging systems and terminology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
