About the Role
As a PACU RN, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' conditions, ensuring their safety, comfort, and privacy. You will assist physicians in procedure rooms, provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia, and prepare patients and families for discharge.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
- Active RN license in the state.
- BLS and ACLS certification required, PALS if required by the center.
Preferred:
- 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care.
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
