As a Paid Intern for Biospecimen Collection, you will interface with community surgeons, obtain informed consent from tissue donors, and transport tissues to the Keliomics facility. Each tissue donation requires 4-6 hours of time, and interns must arrive at the surgery center by 6:30am for surgeries that often start at 7am.
About You
Required:
- Be available at least 2 weekdays a week between 6:30a and 4pm.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be prompt and reliable.
- Have an interest in clinical research.
- Be professional and respectful in interactions with patients and surgeons.
