About the Role
As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, priming, sanding, sealing, and patching various surfaces using a range of painting materials. You will operate and maintain painting equipment, assist in erecting scaffolding, and perform maintenance duties as needed. Your work will contribute to the upkeep and aesthetic of the university's facilities.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- More than one year of related experience.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of the painting trades.
- Skill in the safe and efficient operation of a variety of hand and power tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
