Summary
School-Based Behavior Consultation is seeking a Behavior Technician to join their team in Gas City, IN. The role involves providing skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
About the Role
As a Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for implementing ABA therapy services, collecting data on student behavior, assisting with staff training, and collaborating with school teams. You will work approximately 30-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing direct instruction in various settings.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two years’ experience working with children with disabilities, including children with Autism.
Preferred:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education or related field.
- RBT certification.
- 1 year experience implementing ABA in the natural environment.

School-Based Behavior Consultation (SBBC) focuses on skill development & challenging behavior reduction for student success! SBBC provides Center, Home, & School-Based ABA therapy, for Early Learners ages 2-6 and for school-aged learners 6-18+, and Comprehensive Behavior Support through Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation for young adults and beyond. SBBC is committed to helping those we serve “reach new heights” through the use of evidence-based strategies, naturalistically implemented with care & compassion, & in collaboration with other specialists, school staff, caregivers, & the students we serve.
