- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of 72 quarter or 48-semester credits at an institution of higher education, or an Associate's degree, or passing the Para Pro Assessment.
- Experience in a school setting and working with school-aged individuals.
- Completion of training in First Aid and CPR.
