About the Role
As a Bankruptcy Paralegal, you will be responsible for preparing, filing, and serving documents in New Jersey, New York, and federal bankruptcy courts. Your daily tasks will include managing case calendars, drafting proofs of claim, coordinating with claims agents, and providing support for hearings and trials. You will also interpret local court rules, conduct research, and assist with the closing of bankruptcy transactions.
About You
Required:
- Paralegal certificate is a plus.
- Minimum of four years of substantive bankruptcy experience, ideally in a law firm or legal services environment.
