About the Role
As a Ground Paramedic, you will respond to calls, perform ALS patient assessments and triage, execute Advanced Life Support procedures under medical direction, ensure readiness of vehicles and equipment, and provide high levels of customer service. You will also document patient care accurately and maintain knowledge of EMS protocols while working independently and under stress.
About You
Required:
- Current paramedic-level certification.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
- BLS Basic Life Support certification.
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of a Paramedic program at the certificate or associates degree level.
Preferred:
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (required within 6 months of hire).
- NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification (required within 6 months of hire).
- 1 Year of Paramedic Experience.
- Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) certification (required within 1 year of hire).
- ICS 100 & ICS 700 training.
