About the Role
As a Paramedic Ground, you will monitor patient conditions during transport, communicate with medical staff and dispatch, document patient care, operate medical equipment, and deliver emergency care as needed. You will also participate in the care plan for acutely ill patients requiring transport.
About You
Required:
- NC Emergency Medical Technician--Paramedic or National Equivalent with ability to obtain NC Paramedic within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year Paramedic experience required for this ALS role.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) provider certification.
Preferred:
- National Registry Paramedic – Preferred for in-state but required within 12 months of hire.
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience as an EMT-Basic or similar.
