About the Role
As a Part Time LPN/Surgical Services, you will be responsible for assisting as the first scrub at the surgical table, maintaining a sterile field, preparing operating and labor & delivery rooms, monitoring sterile techniques, performing accurate instrument counts, positioning and transporting patients, and providing postpartum care.
About You
Required:
- NYS LPN license or completion of a surgical technology training program in the military.
- Ability to work on call and report to work within 30 minutes.
Preferred:
- Strong dexterity and stamina to work on long cases.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks quickly.
- Strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking skills to assist RNs and Surgeons.
- Passion for learning and developing in the nursing field.
