Summary
Kennesaw State University is seeking part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education for the academic year 2025-2026, located in Kennesaw, Georgia.
About the Role
As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in science content for teachers or science methods for elementary teachers. You will collaborate with program and science education faculty, gather and score assessment data for accreditation, and participate in faculty and program meetings. These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of a Master's degree in Science or a closely related discipline, or a Master's degree in Science Education with 18 graduate credit hours in science content.
- To teach graduate courses, a Terminal/Doctorate degree in Science Education with 18 graduate credit hours in science content is required.
Preferred:
- Experience as a K-5 teacher.
- Experience coaching or teaching preservice or inservice teachers.
- Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
- Record of past teaching undergraduate courses.
