About the Role
As a Part Time Faculty member in Exercise Science, you will be responsible for teaching courses that may include resistance training principles, fitness assessment, exercise program design, and biomechanics/kinesiology. You will engage with students in both theoretical and practical settings, contributing to their learning and development in the field of exercise science.
About You
Required:
- Master’s degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Psychology, Sports Fitness, Sports Science, Outdoor Recreation Leadership, Human Performance, Kinesiology, or Human Physiology plus three years of experience in the industry.
- Ability to teach courses in exercise science and fitness-related subjects.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Fitness, Human Performance, Kinesiology, or Human Physiology.
- Three years of recent experience teaching adults in Physical Education or fitness-related classes.
- Current certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- Experience teaching theoretical lecture classes in exercise physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, and fitness assessment.
