About the Role
As a Part-Time Instructor (Clinical Supervisor), you will be responsible for teaching courses in your area of expertise, providing clinical supervision and training to graduate student clinicians, assisting with program development, mentoring students, teaching clinical seminars, supervising simulated experiences, and participating in client outreach efforts.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA.
- Eligible for state licensure in speech-language pathology in Georgia.
- Minimum of three years' service in public schools, healthcare, or teaching at the University level.
- Minimum of one year experience in speech-language pathology supervision.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
Preferred:
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
- A record of mentoring students.
- Expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Experience working with individuals with a variety of disorders including literacy, school-aged language, pediatric feeding, autism, cognitive, swallowing/feeding, and assistive technology.
