As a Part-Time Instructor of Art, you will be responsible for teaching courses including ceramics, design, drawing, painting, and sculpture. The position may require teaching online or during evenings and weekends.
About You
Required:
- Master's in fine arts, art, or art history OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in humanities OR the equivalent.
- Knowledge of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Preferred:
- Experience teaching classes such as basic drawing, ceramics, and sculpture.
- Current knowledge of the Art discipline and emerging trends in pedagogy.
Benefits
- Not eligible for benefits, except for Workers’ Compensation coverage.
- Part Time Faculty office hours paid at a flat rate of $30 per hour.
